Hellas is one of the newest destinations in the scuba diving family and this is so, for very good reasons:  Diving – until 2006 – was significantly restricted, by government and archaeological authorities, so as to protect the rich heritage that still lies down there. Now that the regulation has eased, the country, with its long experience and infrastructure  in tourism and its related services, is determined to put itself in the international scuba diving map.
