Anavyssos is a small town in Attiki, located 42 kilometres south-west of Athens towards Saronic Gulf, linked to the city by a major motorway and just 20 minutes away from Athens International Airport.
Anavyssos beach is a beautiful beach with clear and warm waters. Anavyssos’s location and it’s tourist-friendly atmosphere, make the town a popular destination. It is worth noting that the Anavyssos Kouros, one of the most famous pieces of Greek sculpture, was found in the town’s cemetery. The Kouros is housed in the National Archaeological Museum of Athens.
