Korakas Cape is the Northeastern corner of the island 30mins away from Petra Base. The wreck dates from 1943, a 30m long metal merchant ship. It lies on its side, bow at about 16m, and stern at 27m. It is in a very good condition, and it is possible to enter in a very small part of it. The site around the wreck is also very interesting, with a big metal anchor, a number of amphorae, and a huge pile of cement sacks that are now like rocks on the sea bottom!
